The short version: Limepad is here to help you learn. Use it for that, and check what matters.

Limepad can be wrong

Limepad is an AI. It explains things well most of the time, but it can make mistakes, including in maths, dates and facts. Check anything important with your teacher, your textbook or your course notes.

Learn, don’t outsource

Use Limepad to understand your work, practise and prepare. Don’t use it to hand in work that isn’t yours, or to break your school’s rules on graded work and exams.

Your content

What you write, say and upload stays yours. You give us permission to store it and send it to the services that run Limepad (see the privacy policy), only to provide the app to you. Only upload material you’re allowed to use.

Subscriptions

Your account comes with one free session (one per account and one per device): a board with a limited amount of Limepad's help, and one file upload to go with it. After that, Limepad needs a subscription: monthly or yearly. There is no free trial: payment is taken by Apple when you confirm, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple ID settings (or Settings → Manage subscription in Limepad). Refunds are handled by Apple.

A subscription includes every lesson, exercise and exam prep session, with no lesson count. Uploads have limits (file size, and pages per PDF), shown when you upload.

Fair use

Limepad is for one student's own learning. Every AI request costs us money, so there are fair-use limits on how much can be used in an hour or a day, set far above what a student normally uses; they're there to stop automated or shared use. Don’t share your account, try to get around these limits, misuse the service, or use it to create anything harmful.

Changes

Limepad is new and will change. We may update these terms; if the changes matter, we’ll tell you in the app. You can stop using Limepad and delete your account at any time.
